Sabden Fold Archers

Welcome to the website for Sabden Fold Archers: a field archery club affiliated to the National Field Archery Society

Shoot Report, Pictures and Results for the Pendle-Witch Country Challenge will be put here as soon as Ian gives them to me.

Please check out the News pages for announcements and the most up-to-date information about what is happening at the club. The news pages are updated by Ian Horrocks, the Club Secretary.

Regretfully we won't be doing any training courses for the forseeable future.

The Members Only page has been updated. You will need a username and a password to get into the Members Only part of the site. If you're a member of Sabden Fold Archers please contact me for a password.

Where and when do we meet?

Now that the weather has turned and the nights have drawn in we meet inside on Thursday evenings at Bacup Leisure Centre on Burnley Road in Bacup, Lancashire. Shooting starts at 7:30pm and finishes when we get too thirsty to carry on, or 9:30pm, whichever comes first.

In the summer we meet outside at Sabden Fold Farm in Sabden Fold on the side of Pendle Hill near Burnley in Lancashire (if you're not sure where that is, check out the map page) on Tuesday Evenings. Shooting starts at 7pm and carries on until it's too dark when we all move into the nice warm hut.

About this site

Sabden Fold Archers dot Org is being created by an amateur who joined the club in August 2006. The site will always be under construction. So, if you see any mistakes or have suggestions on new features or improvements, please send an email to webmaster@sabdenfoldarchers.org and I'll see what I can do about it.

The site looks best when using Mozilla Firefox and a screen resolution of 1024x768 but you can use Microsoft Internet Explorer and other screen resolutions as well. You should even be able to get a fairly good representation of the site on any new-ish internet enabled phone.
