Sabden Fold Archers
Welcome to the website for Sabden Fold Archers: a field archery club affiliated to the National Field Archery Society
Mike wanted me to let everyone know that we raised £250 from the raffle and other donations at the Jack Belcher Memorial Shoot on 8th May and that every penny has been donated to Macmillan Nurses.
Please check out the News pages for announcements and the most up-to-date information about what is happening at the club. The news pages are updated by Ian Horrocks, the Club Secretary.
Regretfully we won't be doing any training courses for the forseeable future.
The Members Only page has been updated. You will need a username and a password to get into the Members Only part of the site. If you're a member of Sabden Fold Archers please contact me for a password.
Where and when do we meet?
In the Spring and Summer we meet outside at Sabden Fold Farm in Sabden Fold on the side of Pendle Hill near Burnley in Lancashire (if you're not sure where that is, check out the map page) on Tuesday Evenings. Shooting starts at 7pm and carries on until it's too dark to see what we've hit when we all move into the nice warm hut.
When the weather turns glum and the nights draw in, we meet inside on Wednesday evenings at Longholme Methodist Church on James St. in Rawtenstall, Rossendale, BB4 7NE. It's the church behind the temperance bar, park in front of Boots. Shooting starts at 7:30pm and finishes when we get too thirsty to carry on, or 9:00pm, whichever comes first.

Sabden Fold Archers dot Org is being created by an amateur who joined the club in August 2006. In accordance with the new UK legislation regarding the EU Directive on internet privacy and the use of cookies, we'd just like to let you know that this site does not use cookies except for one used by Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses anonymous data to let us (and only us) track how many people have been to visit the site and which pages the same person has visited. The site will always be under construction. So, if you see any mistakes or have suggestions on new features or improvements, please send an email to webmaster@sabdenfoldarchers.org and I'll see what I can do about it.
The site looks best when using Mozilla Firefox and a screen resolution of 1024x768 but you can use Microsoft Internet Explorer and other screen resolutions as well. You should even be able to get a fairly good representation of the site on any new-ish internet enabled phone.
